Easter Sunday Sun
Sunday saw cold fingers despite the sun, A steady15mph NE swept 15 boats along nicely. RO Bob W squeezed every drop of water out of the tide as sailors negotiated the 'W' course. Three 18's put to sea for the first time this year and enjoyed tussling for line honours. Five dinghies competed in the slow fleet, but such is the good nature of the members; no one seemed to care a jot that we couldn't immediately calculate the slow fleet positions because we didn't have the latest PY adjustments at the club.
Special thanks go to Mark DW who lived up to his 2014 award of 'Volunteer of the Year' by taking a junior out for a free sail and then jumping in the PB at short notice.
Chocolate eggs went down well in the clubroom after we had got the feeling back in our fingers.
